What is KOYABU BOARD?

A Koyabu Board is a new,original stringed instrument.You can play music
just by tapping the strings over the fingerboard with both hands.

Playing this instrument is very simple.You just need to tap the strings.Even
beginners with no previous experience in musical instruments cam play and
get a beautiful sound. With a little practice,you will be able to play your
favorite songs.

A Koyabu Board is the instrument to implement the Uncrossed
System.The Uncrossed System is a unique tuning system.String are
Laid out so that one hand will never interfere with the other.With this
tuning system,you can have a great deal of freedom in arranging music,

Since the Koyabu Board uses 30inches scale,it is so much easier to
play.Any regular guitar and bass strings on the market can be used.So,

　　 3.Pickup & Gutar Synthesizer
Pickups are key to the sound of a Koyabu Board.Slanted structure pickups,made exclusively for a Koyabu Board,create a warm and rich sound. Guitar synthesizers(*)can be installed on all lines of a Koyabu Board.

Yoshitaka Koyabu

He is currently working at Deviser in Matsumoto,Japan,to do a
development work for the KOYABU Symmetric Board.He actively travels to major cites in Japan.
the U.S., and Europe to do performances with Koyabu Board. His creative and outstanding play
has been highly praised by people from the places he played at.

His unique"ten finger tapping" playing style has been influencing many guitar and bass players.
The number of Koyabu Board players who adopted Koyabu's playing style has been increasing over the years.
